Is transportation easy in Paraguay?

Do I need to rent a car or is it cheaper for me to use apps like Uber? I am not really sure how public transportation works around here and whether apps like Uber, Bolt or MUV are safe for daily use.

You can totally use public buses, but most foreigners usually rely on Bolt and Uber, which are safe, affordable, and also widely used. You don't really need a car for your first months; ride apps are reliable and cheap for the day-to-day movement around the city. I recommend getting to know the city well before considering renting a car.
